FINALLY! Apartment Life (and M&G) here I come.

I finally found M&G for less than $20 (yeah, only $5 less but it's the principle of the thing) so, Weezie, I'm movin' on up.

AL and M&G have been ordered.  The Ikea sp (only one I don't have) was still too rich for my cheap blood (yes, yes, roll your eyes all you want but I REFUSE to spend $20 on and sp.  REFUSE!) but the others were right in my price range.

They won't be here for about a week, so that should give me time to back everything up and find hack updates and the like (yes, I just sent myself an email with links to the stuff I KNOW I need to update).  Now, I just have to refresh my memory about how to set the crack up (and bypass the launcher) and I'm good to GO.

Now, a question for anyone who might be reading.

Can you share a GOOD no-cd crack with me?  (I can get it from GCW but I'm not exactly sure if that's the BEST one--I want one that someone's using--a "proven" good one).

Notes to self: Re: FT and hack/mod stuff

MagicKeumungo still works for FT:  this was what I used BEFORE I went inSim.

LizzLove's no jealousy works for FT:  never used this but it probably does about the same thing the one above does (I notied the MagKeu sort of blitzed jealousy all together--might be a good idea since I'm always forgeting to turn off jealousy anyway!).

SO, new idea for FT.

Use SimBlender along with teleporter items, cheat code to set time ("sethour X"), and monique's computers for ease of clothing buying (that's a FT version).

SO, ACR might not be necessary.  I'm still interested but maybe not right away.  I'll be too busy checking out the new stuff FT has (and taking time to manually set all the secondary aspriations *see memories for link to laridian's tutorial*) that the thought of having to learn how to use ACR was really making my palms sweat.

I love having options.

Converted just for ME!

I LOVE the simmergirl site.

Not only did it give me the awesome hair curlers for boys (they are too wonderful) and a host of converted girl clothes for boys (without which I never would have been able to do my Ambrose/Ambrosia Laide story in Nocheat), they just gave me:

I spied the converted princess dress and snagged it.  But what about the mermaid costume, I wondered.  So I asked and in a matter of days, Christine had converted it for me.

Big thank you to Christine at simmergirl.

(and yes, I have plans for this--off to open it and try it out in game)

Sims Blather: To do list

 To do:

Reset Strangetown

Replace with corrected DNA Strangetown :  I'm still up in the air about this one, since I have the "fix" so PT9 will produce green spawn--but does that fix other Strangetown issues?  Does it really matter? (and with inSim, I can turn back the clock on certain sims and have a high old time)

With a fresh Strangetown, I might just do an new Asylum Challenge with all aliens.  I'm not sold on the idea yet.

Sims Links: Celebrities

http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=214276   Johnny Cash

http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=84231  Tom Selleck (though that requires the creepy hairy skin. . .)

http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=144160  Courtney Love

http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=124491  '68 Come Back Special Outfit (ELVIS!)

http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=63250  Britney Spears

http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=203438  Patrick Stewart

So, add a Paris Hilton and Hillary Duff to this list and I think I'll have a strange (and fun) group of celebrities for my Asylum Challenge.  (though I'm not sold on Tom Selleck--that hair skin kind of wigs me out but it's really necessary for him. . .)

I also thought of getting a Christopher Walkin and/or Bob Ross.  That's still up in the air.

http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=83033  Hee hee, this one is only for adult males, but it's funny.

Oooh, that's a pretty big list.  I do need a new do for J.L. Verde (for when I breed her with my GUCCI Gen 10 winner).  Definitely going after the second to the last one and the beehive.  J.L. might look good in a beehive (I'm thinking of glamming her up--that should be funny).
